Two trails, one unforgettable loop. Here's everything that makes this weekend special.
Car-Free
Towpath
Escape New York City on Friday morning and return Sunday evening, having pedaled 88 miles of continuous towpath through New Jersey's most scenic river corridor — the Delaware & Raritan Canal and the Delaware Canal in Pennsylvania.
"I've ridden this loop six times and it still takes my breath away. There's something magical about pedaling beside a 200-year-old canal, far from the noise of the city — I wanted to share that with other New Yorkers."
We handle the logistics. You handle the pedaling.
The trail is flat crushed limestone and paved. Any hybrid, gravel, mountain, or road bike with 700×32c or wider tires is perfect. We do not recommend skinny road tires.
